Field Trip to Santa Ana Zoo
Kylie was able to go on her second field trip with her preschool class. She had a fun time. Gavin and I were able to go also, along with her friend's mom & little brother. The girls had a great time. The boys both did well in their strollers. They got to stretch their legs a couple times, but not for long.

I am crazy with the clippers
Tyrus has always asked me to try cutting his hair and I always refused because I have never cut guys hair before. After many years, I finally decided to try it. Thank goodness he is a good sport. It didn't turn out bad after he touched it up for me, but I definitely wouldn't call it great.
Today I decided it was time to try the clippers on Gavin. I have cut his hair 5 times already in the past 9 months. It grows pretty fast. I usually just use my hair cutting scissors on him, however it can get a little tricky around the ears and neck because he moves a lot. It was never perfect, but it worked.
Lately though his hair has been seeming long and shaggy. I will make it look really handsome and then by the time it dries, it is all falling forward again.
I thought I would use the clippers and make it about an inch long. Well...as you can see, that didn't happen. I kept trying to fix one side to make it match the other and before I knew it, he had a buzz cut. He had a really small mohawk and I thought I would make sure all the hairs were even so decided to go over it again. Well, I used the wrong size guard and made it even shorter. The mohawk would've only stayed for a few days (per Tyrus's request) before I made it all even anyway.
Gavin laughed when we showed him his new hair (or lack of it) in the mirror, however I think he didn't recognize himself later. We were in the family room and he kept looking at the glass sliding door. It showed his reflection because it was dark outside. He kept running over to me like he was afraid of something. I realized he was seeing himself and maybe didn't recognize his new look.
Personally, I think he looks adorable, but I am his mother :-)

I Do All My Own Stunts
I took K & G over to my parents house so I could say hi to Mom and Dad and they could play with Jacob. He and Gavin happened to be wearing the same shirt. I took about 20 pics to get one where they were both looking at the camera and shirts were visable. Kylie loved being in the pics also with her dress up dress on.
Say Cheese!
Crayon Grabber
Crayons are something that Gavin LOVES. I have to watch him so closely though because he tries to eat them. When he does get them though he just grabs as many as he can at once. He throws them on the floor then fills his little fists again. The cycle continues until all the crayons are on the floor.
